Recovery Time

The past few weeks have been exhausting.  My school’s production of “All Shook Up” was last weekend, so the weeks of rehearsals leading up to it have kept me busy.  The Hudson Valley Hot Club was also booked at the Harlem Tavern and Doma Na Rahu in the city March 5th.  Of course that’s the week I got the flu.  I missed days of school and rehearsals and sang 7 hours in the city with a fever and no voice.  It was definitely not my best day and I hope I wasn’t judged too harshly.  Now that I’m healthy and the play’s over, I am hyper-focused on making up all of my missed school work.  I’m finally starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel.
