I had one of the best weeks of my life in LA. My GRAMMY experience was so cool, but the events leading up to it were just as exciting. Spent a day getting a backstage tour and watching rehearsals, including an hour of raw Beiber, up close and personal. I also got to see some dressing rooms. I probably spent more time in Rihanna's dressing room than she did. Oops.
They also gave us a tour of the legendary Village Studios in Santa Monica. So many albums were recorded here. The place had the greatest vibe. Special shoutout to Tyler for the inside tour. My favorite night may have been the concert performed by GRAMMY Camp Jazz sessions. By far, the most talented group of kids I've ever heard. They literally made me cry. I'm now inspired to do much more jazz. The GRAMMYs Awards were great. So many interesting and famous people in such a small place, but it was the music that got me. That Lionel Ritchie tribute was amazing. I can't believe how amazing Demi Lovato sounded live!!! And Kendrick Lamar's performance was fire! Discovering that my "Hardly Breathe" producer, Dominic Fallacaro, won a GRAMMY that day also was the perfect end to a perfect week!!! I hated leaving the warm weather and music scene, but I'm definitely motivated to work on my own music. I have to get back there!
