John DeSanto from The Times-Herald Record sat down with me for an interview and featured lifestyle piece on my musical journey. The feature includes some video as well.

Paste Magazine did a video feature of John the Martyr at their NYC studios today. It was a nice setup and they streamed us live. Check it out: www.pastemagazine.com/articles/ZbE-VwvzN-Q.html Below are a few pics from the John The Martyr Holiday show at the Brooklyn Bowl on 12/16/18. Photo credits to Pat Dunford.

I was recently enabled to participate in an incredibly amazing and unique experience I will not soon forget. Country and pop star Maren Morris was in NY shooting a promo for Hilton Honors as well as playing a private concert for Hilton Honors members. I had the amazing privilege of interviewing Maren and attending her private concert, as a fellow GRAMMY alumni. I am very humbled by her talent and wise advice as a woman in the industry. She provided me first-hand insights of the music industry and how she rose to fame. She is an amazing talent and human and I am honored to have been chosen to meet her.
I also got to hang with on-air host and influencer extraordinaire, Chelsea Briggs as we danced it up during Maren's sound check.

Merry Christmas everyone! I have had fun running the first two concerts of Chloe Bee's Hive Series. Lots of people have asked for videos and photos, so I've decided to post them on my site for everyone to access and enjoy. Thank you to Joe and Glenn Mullhaupt, Carolyn Weller, Megan Rice, Otis, Nick Gaskins, Gabe Valle, Ava Heatley, and Furnace Creek for amazing performances. Thanks to Alanna Floreck, for killer pictures. Please check out their websites for access to the music and photos and support local musicians.
Thanks to Colleen O'Brien for her organizational and sales assistance and delicious honey. Thanks to Liv Calacanis for helping me with our homemade almond milk and chai lattes. Thanks to the adorable Cameron Quinn for her sales assistance. A very special thanks to Milkweed for hosting these concerts and keeping music and art alive in Sugar Loaf! Looking forward to more great music in 2018! Here is a link to the content from these concerts. http://www.chloeborthwick.com/hive-music-series.html I was awarded a full scholarship to attend the Berklee Global Jazz Workshop at the Newport Jazz Festival last week. Got a chance to hang with some of my favorite GRAMMY Jazz cats and met some other amazing jazz musicians. It is pretty humbling to jam with the future of jazz and learn from Danilo Perez and so many others of today's elite jazz musicians.
I had a great meeting today with Guy Eckstine from Iconique Music Group. I am so proud and excited that they are helping my creative development as I continue to work on new music. We will keep you posted on our progress throughout this journey.
Just learned that I am a semi-finalist in ISC Teen Category. Wooo! |
