So excited I can finally share my good news! My song, Hardly Breathe, came in second place in the sixth annual GRAMMY Foundation® and MusiCares® Teens Make Music Contest! I will be going to the Grammys in LA as well as hanging out backstage during dress rehearsal a few days before. Soooo pumped. MusiCares provides confidential emergency health and human services and addiction recovery resources to members of the music community. The GRAMMY Foundation nurtures the future of music through an array of GRAMMY in the Schools® education programs for students, teachers and schools offered year-round. These amazing organizations help to promote and support music and artists during challenging times. Warwick Valley High School has been a GRAMMY® Signature Schools semifinalists in the past. Support from these types of programs has helped to preserve and enrich my own music education and experiences and helped me achieve this award. I'm grateful that these resources exist for my musician community! Press Release I have something exciting to announce in the next few weeks I'm thinking 2016 may be my year. Check back soon for updates.
Great time at Pennings Friday night. First gig with Outerplay and VS Entertainment. Thanks to everyone that came out to see us. We were lucky to have lots of support.
We returned to Sugar Loaf to perform at the Sugar Loaf Fall Festival. This is our fourth appearance at a Sugar loaf Festival. It continues to be one of our favorite spots to play. Thanks to Denim Ed, the sound is always perfect and so many of our friends stop by. Thanks to Rachel at Bertoni for inviting us every year.
Clique returned to Rambler's Rest for a showcase with Furnace Creek, Metafore and Lance Richards (LA). Our old friend Sean Demarest from After The Spider stopped by for support.
I performed a solo set for Warwick's Village Courtyard Music Series yesterday, thanks to sponsors Grappa Ristorante, Joseph Donahue and Associates and John Desibia with Strings Attached. It gave me a chance to play some softer acoustic tunes for lots of friends, family and neighbors. So much fun! Thanks to everyone that came out to show me love!
We hit Garrett Mountain Reservation in NJ on 8/16 for a HOT set at the Passaic County Fair. It was 90+ degrees and humid, but Clique can take the heat. Special thanks to Freeholder Theodore “TJ” Best for the invite! Here's a clip: Your Heart is as Black as Night. DJ King James invited Clique to play at his Birthday Party at The Shrine in NYC. Gave us a chance to meet the beautiful and talented Stori James. Such a cool venue, vive and lineup. Definitely a night we will remember. Thanks to MiddieBuzz, DJ King James, Stori James, Rhythm and Soul Radio and The Shrine for making this all happen for us. We are grateful. Here's a video Clip from the night: |
